Sarah Palin took the time to respond to PolitiFact's "Pants on Fire" rating to her claim that Barack HUSSEIN Obama will let the Bush tax cuts expire, cost us $3.7....errr... don't want to get dinged...$3.8 trillion dollars. And it would be the largest tax increase in history.
PoilitiFact.com showed none on this to be true.
So, Palin does what every other republican leader would do - double down on failure. She clarified her statements by insisting she was correct because there was no plan. In other words, it's ok for her to assume the worst and scare the crap out of her flock because there was no evidence to the contrary.
Wrong again. PoliticFact cited two examples of how she was wrong. This fight isn't even fair. It's like PolitiFact being Mike Tyson and Palin being Gary Coleman - the dead Gary Coleman. She is in way over her head. In fact, factcheck.org found her to be wrong as well. Heck, they found her to be more wrong than PolitiFact did.
This reminds me of an email that I got some time ago with my daily barrage of videos, jokes, and Obama hate from a family friend (I like the stupid videos and off-color jokes because basically, I'm an idiot). I can't remember what it was, but whatever it was, it was completely stupid and wrong. So, I went to Snopes, copy and pasted the facts, and replied to all. Was that ever a mistake. I managed to piss off almost all the Zero haters, but a couple of them pointed to some schmuck with a Blog like this one that repeated the false point. So, I was told to not believe Snopes and instead, believe the people who are "checking" on Snopes.
This is where the republican party is. They cannot use the truth to gain support - they need the lies. That's the best they can do. They should be ashamed.
